The Southern California Law Review is now closed for submissions for the Winter/Spring 2026 cycle. We have not yet filled our volume and will continue to consider manuscripts until we do so. For Authors

The Southern California Law Review accepts article and essay submissions on a rolling basis.

Articles : We prefer articles under 35,000 words (including footnotes).

Essays : We prefer essays under 10,000 words (including footnotes).

All submissions should conform to the 21st edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation and should be in Microsoft Word .docx format.

Please include a current CV and an abstract of your article or essay. A cover letter is optional, and lack of a cover letter will not impact your chances of publication.
